For this purpose, a grand ceremony was held in Ram Mandir at Wadala, Mumbai. A new poster of this film was also unveiled on this occasion.

According to the director, Aurangazeb was a cruel ruler but at the same time he was ambitious. Therefore, we were in search of a versatile actor and we felt that Rajit Kapoor would do justice to this role. Rajit Kapoor while reacting on his role said that till now he has performed variety of roles; but through this film he had an opportunity to play a negative character.
