Marathi movie ‘Video Parlour‘

पहिल्याच ‘रंगा पतंगा‘ या चित्रपटातून अवघ्या महाराष्ट्राचं लक्ष वेधून घेतलेले दिग्दर्शक प्रसाद नामजोशी यांचा पुढचा चित्रपट ‘व्हिडिओ पार्लर‘ पुणे आंतरराष्ट्रीय चित्रपट महोत्सवासाठी (पिफ) निवडला गेला आहे. पिफमधील मराठी सिनेमा टुडे या विभागात हा चित्रपट दाखवला जाणार आहे. या चित्रपटाचा टीजर सोशल मीडियात प्रदर्शित करण्यात आला आहे.

हृदया सिनेक्राफ्टचे डॉ. श्रीयांश कपाले आणि ओम्स आर्ट्सच्या डॉ. संतोष पोटे यांनी ब्लिंग मोशन पिक्चर्सचे सागर वंजारी यांच्या सहकार्याने ‘व्हिडिओ पार्लर‘ या चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली आहे. अभिनेता संदीप पाठक, ओंकार गोवर्धन, कल्याणी मुळे, गौरी कोंगे, पार्थ भालेराव, रितेश तिवारी यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत. चित्रपटाचं लेखन दिग्दर्शन प्रसाद नामजोशी यांनी केलं आहे.
चित्रपट करण्यासाठी विषय शोधत दिग्दर्शक असलेला विक्रम त्याच्या मूळ गावी जातो. तिथं गेल्यानंतर त्याला त्याच्या बालपणीच्या आठवणी जाग्या होतात. व्हिडिओ पार्लरमध्ये तो ज्याच्याबरोबर चित्रपट पहायचा, त्या बालमित्रालाला वीस वर्षांमध्ये भेटलेला नाही. त्याचं यशापयश, प्रेम, अपमान, मित्राचं आयुष्य या सगळ्यातून त्याला मिळालेला चित्रपटासाठी विषय असं या चित्रपटाचं कथासूत्र आहे.

Ever since the launch of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Yuntum‘ there has been a lot of curiosity about the unusual title of this film. But, recently during the music launch of this film, the makers of this film have promised unusual music , as new experiments have been tried by music directors Chinar – Mahesh . Highlight of this film is that ‘Sa Re Ga Ma‘ TV programme finalist Yogesh Ranmale is making his debut as a film playback singer through this film. Another highlight is that renowned film maker Ravi Jadhav has turned presenter of this film. Ravi was impressed with the voice of Yogesh, during this musical TV programme and suggested his name for this film.

There are four songs in ‘Yuntum‘ film and the other playback singers are Harshawardhan Wavare, Anandi Joshi and Chhagan Chougule. But, for Yogesh Ranmale it was an amazing experience while singing the title song of this film. Produced by Amol Kale and directed by Sameer Asha Patil, this film stars Sayaji Shinde, Vaibhav Kadam, Apurva Shelgaonkar, Aishwarya Patil, Akshay Thorat and Hrishikesh Zagade in lead roles. The film is all set to release on 2^nd February 2018 all over Maharashtra.

There is no doubt that Today’s top television celebrity Shilpa Shinde is the most talented TV actresses, who had became a household name with her performance in popular TV serials ‘Chidiya Ghar‘ and ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai‘. But, her entry in the Bigg Boss 11 (2017) show brought her name as well as fame. Every International film festival has its own identity and Yashwant Film Festival too is known for its distinctiveness. This year it will be their 8th year and the festival is all set to start from Thursday 19^th January 2018 at the Y.B.Chavan Centre , Mumbai. The highlight of this year’s Film festival will be the live chat with versatile actor Sachin Khedekar in the special programme held in memory of Late Smita Patil and it will be held on Saturday 20^th January 2018 at 5 pm.

The festival will be hosted jointly by Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan and Pune Film Foundation, with the presence of former Agriculture Minister of India Mr. Sharad Pawar and M.P. Ms. Supriya Sule. The other dignitaries who are expected to be present on this occasion will be Jabbar Patel, Sharad Kale, Hemant Takle, Nitin Pai, Mahendra Teredesai & Sanjay Bansode This year, Veteran Film maker Mr. Ramesh Sippy will be felicitated for his contribution to Indian film industry. Till now, the hosts have felicitated renowned celebrities like Pankaj Kapoor, Anupam Kher & Waheeda Rehman . The festival will go on till 25^th January 2018 with the screening of 85 films selected from different countries.

We are all aware that there is a friendly relationship between music and the fingers. Fingers on our hands have an important role in playing a musical instrument, and create sweet notes that give us immense pleasure. At the same time, playing musical instruments has health benefits. Renowned artiste Satyajit Gajanan Prabhu’s has been creating abundant happiness everywhere with the help of the keyboard and his musical journey is spellbinding.

Satyajit’s bonding with music has been since his childhood which later became so strong that every time he performed he set a new bar with the seven notes of music. Multi-talented musician and a versatile orchestra conductor, Satyajit Prabhu plays on stage the harmonium, synthesizer accordion and pianica. From the first look, this film gives an indication that it is a cinematic presentation of a Gujarathi and Hindi play of Paresh Rawal, the play itself is an adaptation of Marathi play ‘Katkone Trikon‘ , which had won several popular awards few years ago.

Shreyas Talpade in Marathi serial ‘Gulmohar’

Ever since its launch Zee Yuva Marathi television channel has been offering some quality programmes with new subjects. And, the recently concluded limited episode serial ‘Rudram’ is the best example. In this serial we saw Mukta Barve & Kiran Karmarkar in different roles besides many talented artistes in the supporting cast. Even otherwise, this channel has presented serials with variety of subjects, to invite the attention of all age groups. Now, from 22nd January 2018 at 9.30 pm prime time, Zee Yuva will present a new serial ‘Gulmohur’ with series of stories revolving around love, relationship and emotions.

In the very first episode, there is surprise for the home viewers, as Former Marathi actor and present Bollywood star Shreyas Talpade will return to small screen through the first story in this serial. Along with him will be seen Girija Godbole in the lead role. Speaking about his return to small screen, Shreyas Talpade said that when director Mandar Deosthali approached him with this offer, he liked the story and immediately said ‘Yes’ to him. Sayaji Shinde in Marathi movie ‘Yuntum‘ still

Marathi film ‘Yuntum‘ which stars Sayaji Shinde in the lead role of a Sanai player is all set to release on 2^nd February 2018. Recently, the trailer of this film was released on social networking sites and it has received very good response. Produced by Amol Dnyaneshwar Kale, presented by Ravi Jadhav, this film is directed by Sameer Asha Patil.

Speaking about his role in  ‘Yuntum‘ film, Sayaji Shinde said that till now he had played various roles of villain in Marathi, Hindi & South Indian films. But, this role has taken him to a new height. This film also presents a new pair in the form of Vaibhav Kadam & Apurva Shelgaonkar and the trailer of this film says it all about its emotion filled subject.

The music of  ‘Yuntum‘ film is composed by Chinar Mahesh, on the lyrics of Mangesh Kangane, while singers like Harshavardhan Vavare, Yogesh Ranmale, Anandi Joshi and Chagan Chougule have rendered their voices for the songs in this film.

Dance reality shows have always received good response from home viewers . In the past ‘Dance India Dance’ popularly known as DMD had a big success, with involvement of big names. Now, Zee Yuva, will be presenting ‘Dance Maharashtra Dance‘ reality show in a big way from 24^th January 2018. This programme will be telecast on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays @ 9.30 pm.

The makers of  ‘Dance Maharashtra Dance‘ programme had to first shortlist 90 dancers from 5,500 participants who gave their auditions in different parts of Maharashtra like Thane, Nashik, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, besides Mumbai. And, it was a tough task for the judges to select 18 finalists for this show.

So, it will be interesting to see the talent among these best 18, to watch the ultimate winner. Big names like film maker Aditya Sarpotdar, Choreographer Phulwa Khamkar, actor Siddharth Jadhav and anchor Suvrat Joshi are associated with this show, to judge the performance of these finalists.

Marathi movie ‘Memory Card‘ team

Now days, we find unique titles for our Marathi films. Producer- director duo Priteesh Kamat and Mitesh Chindarkar are also presenting one such film with the title ‘Memory Card‘ set on the backdrop of picturesque Konkan with the story of friendship among four friends. The film is now all set to release all over Maharashtra on 2^nd March 2018.

Today, we are all aware of the excessive usage of smart phones. But, In this film ‘Memory Card‘ audience will experience a smart touch that a phone is not really essential to keep in touch with their own people. The film presents newcomers and include Reeshabh Purohit, Vibhuti Kadam, Apurva Paranjpe, Pranali Chavan, Aditya Nakti, Kunal Shinde, Hitesh Kalyankar, Dinesh Patil, Kalpana Bandekar, Vijay Chavan and Akshta Kambli. This will also be the first time to find Actor Sanjay Khapre and Sunil Tawde together in this film.

The film ‘Memory Card’ is edited by Vijay Kochikar, Art Director is Pravin Chindarkar and Cinematography has been handled by Devendra Tanwar. Music of this film was launched recently. Eminent singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Mayuri Nevrekar have rendered their voices for the songs in this film.
